Our Story
Our parent company, National Community Services, Inc, was founded in 1971 as a school fundraising company. By 1977, NCS realized the potential for magazine fund-raising and created the Reading At Home program. In 1986 the company moved to Memphis, Tennessee. NCS has grown into a large magazine sales agency with authorizations from hundreds of publishers in School Plan, Direct Mail, and Cash Field.
Through the years, as NCS developed strong, respected relationships with publishers of all sizes, we noticed a lack of quality fulfillment options available to publications with small-to-medium sized circulations. We decided to apply our magazine customer service and mailroom experience to this segment of the market. In February, 2004 we opened our fulfillment division and signed our first client.
